Burrington Parish Room

The Trustees are now delighted to announce the completion of the extension. This has provided an improved more spacious entrance as well as new toilets including the provision of a toilet for the disabled.

The work proceeded smoothly - with apologies to the near neighbours and village for any noise or inconvenience - and was pretty much on time. The Trustees wish to thank Peter Bedingfield for his project management and all the work he undertook to make the extension possible.

On Saturday 13 November 2010 there was a happy gathering of those who had helped at the Fete and made donations to the Parish Room Appeal to celebrate the completion. David Simpson thanked everyone who had helped in any way and invited them to support future fund raising events as there was more work to be done on the hall to keep it in good repair.
